The High-Temperature Dropping Point Tester is an advanced instrument designed for accurate determination of dropping points of lubricating greases at temperatures up to 400°C (752°F). The system features a thermostatically controlled aluminum block oven with six complete dropping point assemblies, enabling simultaneous testing of multiple samples to improve productivity. Large viewing ports with fluorescent backlighting provide excellent visibility, allowing easy observation of the dropping point during testing.
Equipped with microprocessor-based PID temperature control, the instrument ensures rapid heat-up and stable temperature maintenance within ±0.5°C, eliminating overshoot and enhancing test accuracy. Dual LED displays provide clear indication of both actual and setpoint temperatures in °C/°F format for user convenience.
For safety, the system includes an over-temperature protection circuit that automatically interrupts power if the block temperature exceeds the programmed limit. The insulated cabinet is finished with a durable, chemical-resistant polyurethane coating, ensuring long-term reliability in demanding laboratory environments.
Optional features such as RS232 communication software, ramp-to-set temperature control, and additional advanced functionalities are available to meet specific laboratory requirements.
