Pressure Bleeding Apparatus with constant temperature air cabinet for ASTM-compliant grease oil separation testing under controlled pressure and temperature.
The Pressure Bleeding Apparatus is a complete system designed for evaluating oil separation characteristics of lubricating greases under controlled pressure and temperature conditions, in accordance with ASTM specifications. The system comprises precision-engineered pressure bleeding test cells and a constant temperature air cabinet for accurate and repeatable testing.
Pressure Bleeding Test Cell (Type A):
The Type A test cell includes a cup assembly with funnel and beaker positioning seat, along with a cover fitted with an air inlet connection. A 200-mesh stainless steel sieve strainer with a brass support ring ensures proper filtration and separation during testing. The bayonet-type connection and O-ring seal provide a secure, leak-proof closure between the cover and base. The cup, funnel, and base are constructed from chrome-plated spun copper for durability and corrosion resistance. (Test beaker to be ordered separately.)
Constant Temperature Air Cabinet:
The air cabinet provides a stable temperature environment and regulated air pressure as required by ASTM standards. It is designed as an insulated, airtight enclosure capable of accommodating up to four pressure bleeding test cells simultaneously.
The cabinet is equipped with an electric heater, solid-state temperature controller, cooling coil, and circulating fan to maintain a constant temperature of 77°F (25°C). The integrated pressure system includes an air inlet regulator with gauge, cartesian manostat, manifold with individual control valves for each test cell, output pressure gauge, gas washing bottle, and an additional manostat for precise pressure regulation. A built-in pressure relief valve ensures safety by protecting against pressure surges.
Constructed with a double-wall stainless steel body and full insulation, the cabinet ensures long-term durability, thermal efficiency, and consistent performance.
This system is ideal for lubricant manufacturers, research laboratories, and quality control facilities requiring precise evaluation of grease stability and oil separation characteristics.
