The LV100ND POL/DS Polarized Light Microscope is a high-performance solution designed for dispersion staining and qualitative asbestos analysis. It enables accurate identification of asbestos fibers by combining advanced polarized light microscopy with specialized dispersion staining capabilities.

Using polarized light techniques, the system allows precise measurement of key optical properties such as refractive index, birefringence, retardation, extinction angles, pleochroism, and elongation characteristics. These parameters are critical for reliable asbestos identification in environmental, industrial, and research applications.

Equipped with dedicated accessories for dispersion staining observation, the LV100ND POL/DS provides clear and detailed visualization at magnifications of up to 400x. This ensures accurate differentiation of asbestos types and enhances analytical confidence in laboratory workflows.

The LV100ND POL/DS employs optics with high extinction factors, facilitating detection and observation of high-precision optical properties.
The LV100ND POL/DS enables analysis of birefringence, extinction angles, signs of elongation, refractive indices, birefringence magnitudes, and pleochroism of asbestos.
Changing the objectives and PH modules allows observation of asbestos dispersion colors corresponding to the refractive indices of the immersion liquid. The LV100ND POL/DS enables both quantitative analysis and dispersion staining observation of asbestos.
A fully rotatable circular graduated stage offers trouble-free sample rotation and accurate analysis during polarization observation.
