TE Instruments introduces the Xprep C-IC, the world’s first independent sample preparation system for Combustion Ion Chromatography (C-IC), engineered to redefine automated combustion IC analysis with its advanced and innovative design.

The Xprep C-IC offers complete control over the sample combustion process. It efficiently collects the oxidized gas stream and automatically transfers a precise fraction of the absorbance solution to any leading IC system. This makes it an ideal solution for analyzing corrosive halogens such as Fluorine, Chlorine, Bromine, and Iodine, as well as sulfur compounds including Sulfate, Sulfite, and Thiosulfate across various sample matrices. Monitoring these analytes is critical, as they can corrode equipment, poison catalysts, and pose serious environmental risks.

Designed as a fully automated and compact system, the Xprep C-IC integrates oxidative pyrohydrolytic combustion, fraction collection, and seamless sample injection into a single workflow.
