The CANNON CCS™2100-G6 is a fully automated cold cranking simulator designed for accurate apparent viscosity testing of engine oils at low temperatures ranging from -40°C to -5°C. Ideal for petroleum, lubricant, and automotive testing laboratories, the system helps evaluate the low-temperature cranking performance of engine oils and lubricating base stocks.
The CCS™2100-G6 features automated sample loading, unattended operation, and solvent-free cleaning, enabling laboratories to process up to 14 samples in a single run with improved efficiency and reduced manual intervention. Its thermoelectrically cooled rotor and stator system ensures stable temperature control and reliable viscosity measurements across a wide temperature range.
The instrument conforms to ASTM International ASTM D5293 and SAE International SAE J300 standards, making it suitable for engine oil testing, lubricant formulation, quality control, and research applications.
The system includes a 14-position sample carousel, integrated chiller, vacuum system, injection pump, temperature verification kit, proprietary software, and CANNON CL viscosity standards for complete testing capability.
