Linkam NEXUS Software is Linkam Scientific’s latest 64‑bit Windows‑based control platform, developed to replace the LINK software and provide a higher level of automation, precision, and usability for temperature‑controlled and environmental microscopy experiments. Designed for use with Linkam T95 and T96 controllers, NEXUS delivers synchronized control of temperature, heating and cooling rates, vacuum, humidity, and external triggers, all within a single intuitive interface.
NEXUS features a live status display combined with a real‑time chart, allowing users to monitor experimental conditions continuously while making on‑the‑fly adjustments. Unlimited ramp programming enables complex thermal profiles, including cycling, hold conditions, and ramp progression dependent on non‑temperature parameters such as humidity or vacuum level. A five‑point temperature calibration system ensures outstanding accuracy and reproducibility across experiments.
The software automatically detects the connected Linkam stage and applies appropriate control limits, reducing setup time and minimising user error. Experimental data can be exported in CSV or Excel (.XLS) formats, rewound and reviewed during live acquisition, and compared across runs to support detailed analysis and traceability.
NEXUS supports a modular architecture, allowing users to extend functionality through optional add‑ons such as Image Capture, Extended Measurements, Reporting, TASC (Thermal Analysis by Surface Characterisation), 21 CFR Part 11 compliance, and a full Software Development Kit (SDK) for OEM integration. Together, these modules enable fully digitised, compliant, and visually rich experimental workflows tailored to both research and regulated environments.
