The Linkam LNP96 Liquid Nitrogen Pump is a high‑performance cooling option engineered to provide precise, stable, and repeatable sub‑ambient temperature control for a wide range of Linkam heating and freezing stages. Uniquely designed by Linkam Scientific Instruments, the LNP96 enables researchers to achieve ultra‑low temperatures below –195 °C using controlled liquid nitrogen flow, without compromising sample stability or imaging performance.
The system allows carefully regulated linear cooling rates, ranging from extremely slow (0.01 °C/min) for equilibrium studies, to rapid cooling rates of up to 100 °C/min, making it suitable for both fundamental research and high‑throughput experimental workflows. Advanced pump control and proprietary tubing significantly reduce noise, vibration, and nitrogen consumption, ensuring smooth thermal profiles even during fast cooling ramps.
The LNP96 is fully integrated and automatically controlled by the Linkam T96 controller, synchronising liquid nitrogen delivery with temperature programs created via Linkam control software. The complete system consists of a compact control unit housing the pumps, together with a liquid nitrogen Dewar, and can be easily added as an option to several Linkam stage systems to greatly extend their temperature capabilities.
