eraflash s10 is a fully automatic flash point tester with a 10-position autosampler for unattended testing. Compliant with ASTM D7094, ASTM D6450, and IP620, it safely measures flash point using only 1–2 mL of sample inside a closed chamber.
eraflash s10 is a fully automatic flash point tester with an integrated 10-position autosampler designed for unattended, high-throughput flash point testing. It combines the safety and precision of continuously closed cup flash point methods with the convenience of automated sample handling, making it ideal for busy laboratories and industrial quality control environments.
The analyzer operates according to ASTM D7094, ASTM D6450, and IP620 standards, using only 1 mL to 2 mL of sample for each test. By igniting vapors inside a closed chamber and measuring the resulting pressure increase, eraflash s10 delivers highly accurate flash point results while ensuring maximum operator safety.
As the first 10-position autosampler for flash point testing, eraflash s10 is especially useful for laboratories processing large numbers of fuel, solvent, fragrance, paint, varnish, lubricant, and chemical samples. The low sample volume significantly reduces analytical costs, especially when testing expensive or small-batch products.
For ASTM D7094 and IP620 methods, only 2 mL of sample is required, while ASTM D6450 reduces the sample requirement further to just 1 mL. This makes eraflash s10 highly cost-efficient compared to traditional Pensky Martens methods, which often require much larger sample volumes.
The analyzer includes patented PBT – Peltier Boost Technology®, enabling flash point testing from -25 °C to 420 °C with a single instrument. The Peltier elements are protected during high-temperature operation and used for active cooling during low-temperature testing, reducing turnaround time and increasing sample throughput.
An optional cooling lid is available for testing highly volatile samples. The cooling lid keeps pending samples at a stable temperature before testing, reducing evaporation losses and improving result accuracy. Pre-cooled samples also reduce cooling time during measurement, further increasing efficiency.
The testing process is simple and user-friendly. Operators enter sample IDs, select the testing method, fill up to 10 sample cups, place them on the carousel, and press RUN. The analyzer automatically processes each sample, displays temperature and pressure information in real time, and stores all corrected flash point results in the corresponding result file.
