The Mechanical Grease Workers feature a robust gear reduction motor that drives single or dual ASTM grease worker units mounted on a heavy-duty base. These models meet all ASTM specifications for stroke length and rate, and come equipped with a preset electronic counter allowing users to set the number of strokes (up to 99,999). Once the programmed cycle is complete, the motor automatically stops for operator convenience and accuracy.
Each grease worker includes a threaded steel cup and cover, a steel plunger plate with shaft and handle, and an eccentric cam drive connection for smooth operation. Spring-loaded clamps hold the units firmly in place, while alignment pins facilitate quick disassembly and cleaning after testing. A dial thermometer port allows precise temperature monitoring during testing.
The Manual Grease Worker provides a lever-operated alternative for short-duration worked penetration tests. Designed for durability and simplicity, it features a single steel ASTM grease worker mounted on a rigid base with a hand-lever mechanism. The base includes bolt holes for benchtop mounting and spring-loaded clamps for secure attachment and easy disassembly.
