The Automated Pensky-Martens Flash Point Analyzer combines next-generation automation with proven robust design for reliable flash point determination across a wide range of petroleum and biofuel products. Capable of testing liquids that tend to form a surface film, the analyzer supports flash point measurement from ambient temperature up to 405°C, fully conforming to ASTM D93 procedures A, B, and C.
The system features dual flash detection (thermocouple and ionization ring) and selectable electric or gas ignition, with a user-friendly touch interface on an 8.4" LCD screen displaying all test parameters and results on a single screen. A three-position mechanical lift system for the cover and motor assembly (Open – Clean – Test) allows one-touch positioning of the test cup, simplifying test setup.
The analyzer stores over 65,000 test results on its local hard drive and supports unlimited user-defined programs, including quick tests that safely test from ambient temperature, record results, and prompt sample refresh to minimize fire risk.
Integrated dual fan cooling directly targets the test cup and surrounding environment, accelerating test cycles and enhancing safety. An inert gas fire suppression system ensures maximum protection. The system also features automatic barometric pressure correction, LIMS connectivity, USB ports, and three levels of password security. Multiple calibration options, including 2-point, multipoint, and CRM-based automatic correction, ensure measurement accuracy and compliance.
